When undergoing Invisalign treatment, there are some essentials that you’ll need to have with you to keep your aligners cleaning and fresh on the go.
You’ll need a pouch to keep all of your Invisalign maintenance items in. It needs to be something durable that you can toss in your back, backpack, desk or locker. You are also going to want the pouch to be zippered pouch, with a lining that is at least water resistant (for damp toothbrushes).
Your aligner case.
Any time your aligners are not in your mouth, they should be cleaned and stored in your aligner case. Keep the case with you at all times so you have a safe, clean place to store your aligners while you are eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth.
Keep your lip balm of choice in your kit, because with orthodontic treatment comes dry lips, especially as you’re getting used to wearing your aligners.
Travel tooth brush, floss and tooth paste.
Each time you take out your aligners to eat, you want to brush and floss your teeth. You don’t want food particles and debris stuck between your aligners and your teeth for the rest of the day, so make sure you brush and floss thoroughly before putting your aligners back in your mouth.
